Submarine Flatbed

When set 4888 came out, I knew I would have to get two copies of it: one to build submarines, and one to build trains. It turns out I was able to do both at the same time: here's a flatbed car carrying a submarine.

The sub was loosely based on one of the models shown in the set's instruction book, but modified for my needs. Since the full sub would be too wide to fit nicely on the car, it dismantles into three parts for easy transport.
The sub sits on the back half of the car, held down by some very strong cables donated by Spider-Man. On top of the sub is a hook for lifting the sub off of the car and lowering it into the ocean, onto a boat, or into a swimming pool. Since I live in Illinois, I didn't bother to create a crane to move it. I'll let somebody near the ocean take care of that for me.
On the front of the car sit the two ballast/air/bazooka tanks that clip on to the sides of the sub. More air is stored in the tanks on the bottom of the car, making this car a complete mobile-sub station.
Of course, the submarine can be put together and readied for exploration whenever the captain wants, even if they aren't anywhere near water. Here's what it looks like when it is put together and ready for action. It took a lot of effort for the captain to push the sub off that car without a crane nearby, but he won't regret it until he has to lift it back on all by himself.
