Signal

Every layout needs a way to keep trains from running into each other. Mine has this little signal. Of course, the engineers seem to be pretty lax and somehow manage to run trains into each other anyway. Strange how that happens...

This design was based on one I saw ... somewhere.

	It's a pretty simple design using somewhere around 20 or 30 pieces. It started out without the control box behind it, and I think adding the box added a lot to its character.
	Of course, on the real layout it is connected to more track and lives near a switch. But since my real layout snakes around under things at the moment, I figured making it model in better lighting would show off its details better.
	This picture kind of gives you the illusion that the track goes on further. Yay for cropping! The light colors have since been changed to be a little more, uh, realistic. The ones seen here are the two that I just happened to have laying next to me when I built the little guy.
