gqcam 0.7
---------

This is gqcam version 0.7. Gqcam is a QuickPict type program for Linux.
For those of you that don't know, QuickPict is the software that comes
with a Connectix QuickCam with which one can take pictures under various
slow operating systems. Luckily for the rest of us, there is now gqcam.
It is written in C using the GTK+ widget set (http://www.gtk.org) and the
Video4Linux interface to the Quickcam. It is slowly gaining all of the
features of the original QuickPict, and will soon have new ones added.
Currently it works with both the greyscale and the color versions of the
QuickCam, but NOT the VC or any other version (that I know of). It will
probably work with at least some other Video4Linux supported devices, but
I have not tried it with them and have to clue what the outcome would be.
Also, the V4L driver for the color camera is currently missing some
features, so the hue and color sliders don't really do anything.
Hopefully that will change in the future...

By the way, BIG thanks to Steve Romero for sending me his color camera to
work with. That was a HUGE help. Thanks!

Overall
-------
At the moment this code is still very developmental. I am releasing it to
get feedback on it and see what people think of it. I realize that it
needs a _lot_ of cleaning up and a few things could be done better. I am
open to suggestions on anything that looks _really_ funky...
